Job Description


Description:Perform daily tool repair and cutter changes of all portable powerfeed tools, hand motors, grinders, sanders, Paint Guns, Electric and Cordless Power Tools. Determine operational sequence and methods to use when servicing, setting, repairing, modifying, assembling and testing these tools and equipment adhering to the current process and procedures in place. Applicant must understand preventative maintenance schedules, calibration recall, engineering changes, shop practice and procedure, manufacturers drawings, specifications and catalogues, and have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft products.

- Experience with operating multiple types of support equipment such as grinders, lathes, drill press, power punch, chop saw, cutting torch, welders and paint cleaning machines.

- 2 years experience small engine or portable tool repair.
Desired Skills:
Must be able to read schematics and manufacture drawings. They must be able to analyze portable tools and machine problems and determine exact or alternative parts needed. They must clearly understand the function of how the mechanics performance and usage of all portable tools and parts. Must have a working understanding of the process they are used in. They must have a working knowledge of Microsoft products and the ability to learn and navigate multiple vendor software for electric and robotic tool setups. They must be able to use a variety of different electronic and manual measuring devices.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
