We are seeking a Property Control Assistant at our Huntsville, AL site.
In this role you will:

Maintains property records and property systems that include receipt, location, physical inventory, system status, identification, transfers, storage, loss, and disposal in accordance with FAR 52.245-1 and company requirements.

Coordinates property transfers; conducts periodic inventories.

Picks up and transports equipment in accordance with company policies.

Performs scrapping/demilitarization of equipment in accordance with government or company instructions and procedures.

Prepares large shipments of Electronic Waste and Scrap materials.

This position requires periodic work in outdoor elements under harsh environments (cold, heat, rain, etc.).
Basic Qualifications:
-Basic mechanical knowledge or understanding of how mechanical equipment or hand tools work
-Ability to lift 50 lbs. and capable of repetitive lifting of packages to OSHA Guidelines with no physical restrictions
-Ability to work with limited supervision
-Microsoft Office Suite skills
-Must be United States Citizen
-Must be able to obtain a United States Government Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
-Previous forklift experience
-Self-starter, ability to work within a team environment
-Proactive with good follow-up skills and attention to details
-Good oral and written communication skills
-Ability to work in a demanding environment/to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
