You will be the Quality Engineer for our team, applying quality principles to ensure the highest standards of product and process quality.



What You Will Be Doing


As the Quality Engineer, you will perform technical evaluations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive corrective actions to guarantee quality standards are met.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Performing technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, and designs to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Collaborating with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers on quality-related issues.

  • Engaging in product failure investigations, material review board decisions, and corrective/preventive actions.

  • Developing strategies to improve internal and supplier performance, and evaluating quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.

  • Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes to ensure products meet required standards and specifications.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.


Basic Qualifications:
STEM degree at bachelors level or higher

Have knowledge of quality systems, demonstrated use of standard problem solving, troubleshooting tools and root cause analysis skills.

Experience in troubleshooting electrical test failures associated with hardware and using electrical data acquisition instruments.

Ability to perform floor support functions and make appropriate quality decisions.

Good communications and presentation skills.

Well versed in GD&T, interpreting drawings and standards.

Experienced in using various inspection measurement tools, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.

Ability to obtain a secret security clearance therefore must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
Manufacturing and process improvement experience.

Defense or military contractor experience.

Working knowledge of SAP.

Working knowledge of GD&T, FMEAs, and Root Cause and Corrective Action processes.

Experience in working with MiniTab.

Experience in Six-Sigma green belt techniques and statistical process control methods.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
