Description:

You will be the Receiving Inspector for the Inspection Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring that every part, component, and assembly meets exacting quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.



What You Will Be Doing


As the Receiving Inspector you will be responsible for performing comprehensive inspections that verify conformity to specifications, documenting discrepancies, and supporting continuous improvement of inspection practices.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Conduct inspections of subcontracted and purchased parts using predetermined methods and, when needed, establish appropriate inspection sequences.

  • Accurately document findings, discrepancies, and compliance results in clear, legible reports.

  • Interpret blueprints, work orders, and AS9102 First Article requirements to verify dimensions, identification, and workmanship acceptance criteria.

  • Train and mentor new personnel on inspection techniques, documentation standards, and safety procedures.

  • Participate in internal and external audits, maintain inspection records, and uphold a safe, organized work environment.

Security Clearance Requirement


MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company‑sponsored interim secret clearance is required to start.


Basic Qualifications:
• 2 years, formal education in electricity/electronics, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks.

• Demonstrated ability to use basic measuring instruments, equipment and devices such as micrometers, gauges, and calipers to check various assemblies/components.

• Must be able to read blueprint, work instructions and interpret engineering drawing requirements.
• Basic computing literacy is required.

• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills, with both internal and external customers.

• Previous assembly, fabrication and/or inspection experience.

• Must be able to support a flexible work schedule supporting overtime, off-Fridays, weekends, and/or alternate shifts to support product schedules as required.

• Must have IPC certification, or ability to obtain certification.

• Must be able to pass visual acuity and color perception exam.

• Must be able to obtain a Government Secret security clearance.

• US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
• Receiving Inspection experience.

• Experience inspecting electrical components and/or printed wiring boards.

• Experience using a CMM and a height gage.

• Knowledge of MIL standards.

• Demonstrated computer skills areas of LM tools including SAP, Apriso, Command Media, PAL, Windchill and P2P.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
