Description:What You Will Be Doing

This position is located at Langley AFB, Virginia, supporting the F-22 Modification, repair, overhaul, and low observable aircraft production lines. Possible domestic and international travel maybe sometimes be required. Additional job requirements and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Modify, repairs, replaces and overhauls aircraft structural systems to ensure airworthiness.

Determines feasibility and method of repairing/replacing/restoring malfunctioning, damaged, or low observable components.

Work typically requires a detailed understanding of blueprints, aircraft drawings and low observable coating applications.

Must be available to work a flexible schedule as required to keep aircraft modifications on schedule.

This position is for a highly motivated person to be responsible for performing aircraft modifications, and low observable maintenance on all Lockheed Martin Platforms.

Must be able to read and interpret technical data.

Must be a US Citizen.

Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform
repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist.

Basic Qualifications:
5 years minimum performing aircraft structural repairs/maintenance/modifications

Drilling close tolerance holes, difficult angles/tight spaces.

Drilling up brackets on/off aircraft critical components.

Reading & interpreting blueprints and process specs. Working with minimal supervision on assigned work.
Desired Skills:
Aircraft battle damage repair, Combat Logistics Support Squadron Structures work.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
