Description:

You will be the Senior Systems Engineer – F‑35 Test Operations & Planning for the F‑35 Test Operations team. Our team drives system integration and testing across the F‑35 program, delivering detailed test plans, managing test environments, lab infrastructure, schedules, and resources. By collaborating with software, architecture, design, and test groups, we ensure the aircraft’s modernization, sustainment, and development are validated and field‑ready.

• Developing and maintaining detailed test plans that define scope, environments, lab setups, schedules, and resource allocation for F‑35 testing.
• Coordinating test execution across hardware‑in‑the‑loop, software‑in‑the‑loop, and mixed‑reality labs, ensuring alignment with program milestones.
• Partnering with cross‑functional teams (software, architecture, design, and system test) to integrate requirements and resolve technical challenges.
• Tracking and reporting test metrics while identifying opportunities for process improvement to support F‑35 modernization, sustainment, and new‑development efforts.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.

You will need to be a US Citizen, and currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.


Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline (engineering preferred).

• Project Engineering Experience and/or Systems Engineering

• Active Secret clearance or higher
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Integration and Test
• Experience in developing and executing technical plans
• Systems Engineering development and integration experience
• Experience with requirement development that includes the scope of testing and the different testing environments
• Experience in Mission Systems capabilities within aircraft platform(s).
• Experienced working with multiple LM Aero F-35 engineering teams, such as System Design, Software, SWIT, or Integrated System Evaluation
• Must be US citizen with ability to obtain Program Access Clearances
• F-35 Program Clearances
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
