You will be the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Test Engineer for the IAMD Line-of-Business, supporting production and development Test Equipment and Test Software activities in Grand Prairie, TX. Our team is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of test systems, and you will play a key role in providing technical support, test equipment improvements, and troubleshooting expertise.

What You Will Be Doing
As the ATE Test Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting test systems, providing technical expertise, and driving improvements to test equipment and software. You will work with a range of technologies, including TestStand®, LabVIEW®, and CVI®, to control signal generation and measurement tools, conduct Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), and functional testing.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Upgrading/supporting/designing test equipment hardware and software as needed.

• Analyzing failures associated with test equipment and providing recommended solutions.

• Troubleshooting and problem-solving test equipment issues.

• Collaborating with production teams to maintain test equipment uptime and support troubleshooting

Further Information About This Opportunity:
This position is in Grand Prairie, TX.

This position requires the ability to travel 20% to Lufkin, TX and Camden, AR.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. An Interim Secret Clearance required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related and 5+ years of professional experience.

• Experience supporting/designing Electronics Test Equipment, including Interface Test Adapters (ITA’s) and Unit Under Test (UUT) Cabling.

•Experience [Supporting / Designing] Software for Automated Test Equipment (ATE).

• Interim clearance required to start.
Desired Skills:
• Proficient with National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand.

• Experience with Verification and Validation of test equipment for DoD products.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret
