Job Description


Description:This position is with our Advanced Development Program (ADP), known as the historic Skunk Works located in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas; Marietta, Georgia; and Palmdale, California. We are looking for world-class talent for this position to join the 75+ year tradition of creating advanced aircraft. The candidate will join an ADP effort as a Systems Engineer. Candidate must be able to concurrently handle multiple and widely varying assignments simultaneously in a fast paced, ever changing environment. Must have the ability to work independently as well as being a team player and willing to support other team members on a proactive basis in any capacity needed. Must engage professionally and effectively with senior management. Must be able to successfully meet deadlines and execute to a strict timeline. Will work to advance Open Architecture concepts in the Mission Systems domain. The successful candidate will apply Systems Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering principles in the development and application of Open Architecture standards. This position requires using the MBSE tool Cameo to produce system engineering artifacts for the engineering effort.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline: Aerospace, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Systems (equivalent disciplines considered)
- Understanding of Systems Engineering principles: Systems Engineering V, Systems Decomposition, Requirements, Verification, etc.
- Understanding of MBSE process, principles, and tools
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Ability to work in cross-functional and cross-industry teams
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Open Architecture, such as Open Mission Systems (OMS), Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI), Universal Armament Interface (UAI), Agile Mission Suite Government Reference Architecture (AMS GRA)
- Experience in applying Systems Engineering to Mission Systems
- Experience developing UAV / Drone vehicles
- Air Vehicle Mission Systems experience
- Experience with Cameo and Teamwork Cloud
- Understanding of MBSE Languages and Frameworks: SysML, DoDAF, UPDM, UAF
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
