Job Description


Description:Performs technical planning, cost/risk trades, and schedule evaluations with regard to engineering changes. Interface and assist program personnel & other organizations with configuration management related issues. Perform configuration audits to verify systems have met the requirements specified in their baseline documentation (Functional Configuration Audit), and verify that the related design documentation matches the Configuration Item (CI) as specified in the contract and confirm that the manufacturing processes will support production (Physical Configuration Audit), Supplier Compliance to Configuration Management requirements, Compliance with ISO 9000 standards.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field

Significant formal Systems Engineering experience

Significant experience conducting FCA/PCAs and Supplier Audits
Desired Skills:
Solid written and oral skills
Effective interpersonal communication
Experience working with Experience with US Government and/or Foreign Military Customer
Experience working with Suppliers
Familiar with engineering drawing practices and Statements-of-Work
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
