The Logistics Finance Business Partner role at PepsiCo’s Leicester site is a pivotal position for finance professionals passionate about logistics and operational excellence. You will business partner with the senior leadership team, forging strong relationships across departments to drive financial understanding and impact. Key focus areas include supporting Logistics Finance Managers and site leadership in controlling warehouse and transportation costs through robust performance analysis, financial planning, and forecasting. Prepare insightful reporting and presentations to empower decision-making, and collaborate with the Site Finance Manager (SFM) and senior leaders to shape the agenda for projects and productivity initiatives. This deadline-driven role demands a drive for results, influencing skills, and expertise in logistics finance within the fast-paced food and beverage sector.
Take ownership of period-end financial reporting, presenting results to the central finance team. Handle monthly financial reporting of site performance to the Business Unit (BU), ensuring all systems are accurately updated. Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) build, incorporating inputs from Site Finance Analysts in the Integrated Control Centre (ICC) and reviewing with the SFM before submission.
Build engagement with budget holders, ensuring financial priorities are discussed in the right forums. Actively participate in Operations meetings to align on cost KPIs between operational and finance teams, providing coaching as needed. Serve as the key link between the site finance team and SFM, escalating issues appropriately and deputising in their absence.
Support site Kaizen Leaders and Green Belts with project charters, savings calculations, and tracking productivity in Power Steering. Aid in establishing and embedding financial controls with the Operations and Control team. Ensure compliance with Global Control Standards (GCS) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). Work with the SFM on projects, productivity agendas, and other workstreams.
