The pay range is $71,000.00 - $128,000.00

A role with the Pricing & Promotion Center of Excellence (PPCOE) means you’re on a mission with merchants to develop enterprise-wide pricing and promotion strategies. Your work will impact millions of dollars in the form of everyday retail prices, promotional strategy and effectiveness, clearance management and competitive pricing. Here, you’ll be a key business consultant to merchants and develop relationships with buyers, senior buyers and leaders. Your strong partnership with Marketing will bring offers to life for guests, and you’ll also work closely with Store Operations, Finance and other key support areas.

As a Loyalty Member Engagement Manager for the PPCOE team, you will lead in delivering upon the Circle Guest Engagement strategy, inclusive of offers, content and experiences. You will work closely with partner teams to enable seamless Circle engagement rewards and experiences plans inclusive of program benefits, personalized content, early access, and promotions.  In this role you will collaborate with the Loyalty, Data Sciences, Merchant, Roundel, Finance and vendors’ teams to ensure all rewards are meeting both guest expectations and sales forecast.

   

  • Design strategic program choices to drive guest awareness, comprehension and utilization of loyalty at Target.

  • Represent loyalty in key company strategies, including major seasonal events, and strategic initiatives. 

  • Evaluated and develop engagement strategy for loyalty baseline benefits, inclusive of rewards, and community relationship.

  • Create and ensure adherence to scalable and repeatable best practices to support the development of guest engagement strategy and loyalty ecosystem.

  • Set goals that continually raise the bar for Target’s loyalty and financial success in each business.  Monitor results and communicate to stakeholders on necessary actions to achieve goals.

  • Lead projects that span multiple team within marketing, operations, PPCOE, Merchants, Product, Digital, Stores, & Data Sciences

To achieve these outcomes, your role will need to engage in the following activities:

  • Maintain daily interaction with key stakeholder to ensure success of Target Circle

  • Report and develop weekly action plans on KPI results and on drivers of variance

  • Aggressively prioritize the efforts of guest engagement strategy creation, testing, insights, and guest learnings to ensure the opportunities with the highest potential are always making progress.

  • Build strong, trusted relationships through regular collaboration with PPCOE Strategy, Marketing, Loyalty, Finance, and Merchandising DMMs, Stores, Digital partners, technology teams, including product owners, engineers, and data sciences analytics teams

  • Analyze root cause using both internal and external reporting tools and drive strategy adjustments as required.

  • Deliver guest and financial metrics in support of Target Circle

Minimum requirements:

  • 4-year degree or equivalent work experience 

  • 5+ years related work experience (merchant, vendor, shopper marketing) 

  • A master collaborator who is able to inspire trust and confidence with a range of partners 

  • Management of financial performance 

  • Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills 

  • Strong written and oral communication skills 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Self-Starter, ability to work independently, strong initiative 

  • Strong planning and organizational skills 

Desired Requirements:

  • MBA

  • Knowledge of strategy development, problem solving and hypothesis testing

  • Previous experiences: Finance, loyalty, strategy development, working with cross functional teams, merchandising, product technology development, and project management.  

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
