Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test automotive systems, components, and assemblies
- Create detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and suppliers
- Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions
- Lead product development from concept through production launch
- Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and regulations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or engineering
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or related field
- Professional engineering certification (PE, CQE)
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles
- Leadership or project management experience
