Role Overview

The Maintenance Manager position at PepsiCo in Aiea, Hawaii, is a pivotal leadership role within our supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities

As Maintenance Manager, your impact will be felt across the business unit through strategic leadership and execution:

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of supervisors and mechanics, ensuring quality performance and accountability for individual, team, and unit goals.
• Drive cost efficiency and continuous improvement in processes, service, and safety, achieving key metrics like uptime, equipment reliability, and OEE.
• Coach team members in utilizing processes, facilitating problem-solving on the floor, and resolving day-to-day operational issues.
• Deliver effective change leadership to implement business changes while minimizing impact on people.
• Build capabilities through hiring, training, communication, and employee relations for hourly and salaried personnel.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal customers and suppliers to solve issues and deliver results.
• Conduct presentations, formal training programs, and maintain regular plant floor presence.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must bring a blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and a results-oriented mindset:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or a similar field.
• Minimum 5 years of PLC experience and operations maintenance experience, plus 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Lean Six Sigma experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project.
• Strong project management skills, quick thinking, initiative, creativity, and the ability to challenge teams.
• Proven leadership in dynamic environments, with skills in mentoring others to achieve results.
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record strongly preferred, and indefinite right to work in the United States.
