Role Overview

As a Maintenance Planner at PepsiCo in Colonia Del Sacramento, Uruguay, you will play a pivotal role in elevating our plant's maintenance strategies. Key Responsibilities

  • Deploying PGCS best practices and World Class maintenance excellence techniques, including continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Implementing the SC Maintenance Strategy with executional support for improvement action plans.
  • Building a robust Reliability function to transition R&M spends from breakdown to preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • Defining and standardizing annual preventive maintenance plans using Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodology to ensure compliance, availability, safety, and quality.
  • Managing Spare Parts Inventory across ad hoc additions and new equipment-driven stock, optimizing efficiency and meeting operational/financial goals.
  • Monitoring, scheduling PM activities, validating the master PM program, and managing work order backlogs.
  • Generating PM reports, updating plant machinery in CMMS SAP PM, and striving for optimal asset reliability.
  • Supervising the Spare Parts Warehouse, managing stock levels, MRP programming, BOM updates, and technical documentation.
  • Reporting quality, food defense, and safety issues while ensuring HSE compliance and immediate incident reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Technical/Engineering (Bachelor’s preferred) with at least three years of industrial experience in a similar role.
  • Field experience in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, plus hands-on technician background.

  • Strategic, resourceful, cost-conscious mindset with intermediate Excel skills; SAP PM knowledge is a plus.
