Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet these basic qualifications:

• Be 18 years or older and pass a technical assessment on job-critical maintenance knowledge.
• Possess experience with mechanical systems, including gear boxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, and bearings.
• Demonstrate ability to read and apply product manuals, troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns, and interpret mechanical drawings (hydraulics, pneumatics).

Helpful experience includes:

• Basic electrical systems (starters, fuses, relays), compressors/ammonia refrigeration, conveyors, and airveyors.
• Advanced skills in electrical installation, VFDs, electronics, gearing, hydraulics, kinematics, packaging/high-speed production, PLCs, pneumatics, pumps, schematics, SERVO motors, and team-based troubleshooting.

Physical demands require continuous work in challenging conditions and frequent lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending, and kneeling. Must provide own hand tools.
