Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician II - TWC role at Williams offers a dynamic opportunity to support the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our headquarters building in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As a key team member, you'll handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, ensuring safe and efficient facility performance. This mid-level position demands technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong safety focus. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related equipment for optimal safety and efficiency.
  • Respond courteously and efficiently to tenant requests, escalating unresolved issues to leadership.
  • Regularly take readings on equipment, analyze data, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain and operate chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and associated systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with building fire and energy management systems.
  • Inspect and test critical equipment including elevators, fire pumps, generators, and carbon monoxide sensors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, adhering to all safety protocols.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

This hands-on role requires the ability to work in extreme temperatures, loud noises, and confined spaces. You'll carry/lift up to 50 lbs individually or team-lift heavier loads, stand/walk/climb/bend/stoop/squat for extended periods, and work at heights using man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, or towers with proper PPE. Hand tool proficiency is essential.

Shift and Schedule Details

Flexible scheduling includes after-hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekends, and holidays. Examples: Weekends 7pm-7am or 7am-7pm; weekday shifts like Mon-Fri 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, or 11pm-7am; overtime as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Education/Experience: Two-year degree from a vocational/technical/business school or high school diploma/GED equivalent, plus minimum 6 years in HVAC (installation, repair, maintenance) including 5+ years in building operations.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Oklahoma Mechanical Journeyman license, State Boiler Operator license, first-class limited Engineer's license, EPA refrigerant certification, valid driver's license with clean record.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities, safety-first mindset, basic Microsoft Office and PC proficiency.
  • Additional Screening: This FDIC-regulated facility requires successful completion of a background investigation for access badge, plus potential extra screenings.
