  • Pass a technical assessment covering job-critical maintenance knowledge areas.
  • Possess experience with mechanical systems, including gear boxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, and bearings.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in reading and applying product manuals for repairs.
  • Have hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns and reading mechanical drawings (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics).

Helpful experience includes:

  • Basic electrical systems (starters, fuses, relays).
  • Compressors, ammonia/refrigeration systems, conveyors, and airveyors.
  • Electrical installation, VFDs, electronics, gearing, hydraulics, kinematics, packaging/high-speed production, PLCs, pneumatics, pumps, schematics, and SERVO systems.
  • Team-based environments and computerized preventative maintenance.
