Key Responsibilities

In this hands-on role, expect to:

• Perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment per manufacturer specifications.

• Conduct breakdown analysis to pinpoint and fix issues efficiently.
• Upgrade production lines with new equipment and technology, collaborating with outside contractors.
• Handle line changeovers for packaging switches and maintain general housekeeping.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety protocols, and audit standards while documenting all work tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed as a PepsiCo Maintenance Technician, candidates must meet these basic qualifications:

• Be 18 years or older and pass a technical assessment on job-critical maintenance knowledge.
• Possess experience with mechanical systems, product manuals, troubleshooting breakdowns, and reading mechanical drawings (hydraulics, pneumatics).
• Bring your own hand tools and be physically capable of frequent lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending, and kneeling.

Helpful experience includes:

• Basic electrical systems (starters, fuses, relays), compressors/ammonia refrigeration, conveyors, VFDs, gearing, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, schematics, SERVO motors, PLCs, and high-speed packaging production.
