Role Overview

The Manager - Analytics Insights role is pivotal within PepsiCo's Insights Services Center in Hyderabad, India. This position provides advanced analytics support for the AMESA sector, enabling deeper understanding of business performance drivers at national, regional, state, and city levels. You will develop custom descriptive analytics, statistical models, and forecasting tools to address critical questions in growth driver modeling, pricing, assortment optimization, market structure, innovation forecasting, and category growth. Additionally, the role supports consumer insight teams by collating learnings from diverse sources to shape future strategies for beverages and snacks brands. Short-term responsibilities include knowledge transfer from vendors and establishing robust business processes. Key Responsibilities

Functional Analytics Delivery

Execute deep descriptive analytics to supplement standard reporting and inform data-driven decisions. Identify and visualize key market share drivers for AMESA categories to prioritize brand planning. Support annual SKU optimization by analyzing impacts across channels, customers, and regions. Develop and maintain statistical models for forecasting, price sensitivities, drivers analysis, and market structure. Forecast market growth using internal tools like PGM to set long-term expectations. Collate consumer learnings from insights, sales data, industry reports, and social listening to develop future strategies. Provide ad-hoc responses with tables and charts for deeper dives.

Stakeholder and Process Management

Build and maintain relationships with AMESA stakeholders and regional offices. Ensure flawless execution of analytics projects while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Lead communications on capacity, scope changes, and future planning. Deliver outputs per agreed timelines and formats, flagging risks proactively. Partner to refine COE processes, including workflow mapping and bottleneck resolution based on feedback.

People and Project Leadership

Develop advanced analytics skills in team members through training and reviews. Promote cross-functional communication and consistent quality across markets. Manage end-to-end projects with a focus on efficiency and impact.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates need 6+ years of experience in analytics, with proven ability to convert insights into compelling business stories. Hands-on expertise in R and Python (at least one), advanced MS Excel, and SQL is essential. Proficiency in data structures, cleaning, structuring, and aggregation is required. You should be an expert in statistical techniques like regression, forecasting, decision trees, and modeling processes—from concept to coding. Experience designing model architecture, translating business problems into analytical solutions, and visualizing datasets to identify decision-making KPIs is crucial. Strong PowerPoint skills for storytelling are a must. Preferable: ML techniques, cloud-compatible tech stacks, and data pipeline creation. End-to-end project management experience rounds out the profile.
