Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will involve hands-on leadership in procurement excellence:

• Expand the preferred suppliers list through market intelligence assessments, categorizing suppliers (especially in civils and construction) for targeted tendering invites.
• Execute and support the TPDD process, ensuring seamless documentation handling, controls, and compliance.
• Conduct standard supplier investigations in collaboration with consultants and industry peers.
• Track and report SLAs, KPIs, and savings using agreed methodologies.
• Support Engineering and GP teams with supply market scans, identifying and shortlisting potential suppliers.
• Gather RFx requirements, manage collection, analysis, evaluation, and reporting across cost, service, quality, sustainability, and innovation.
• Handle supplier queries, financial checks, reference checks, and ensure 100% RFx completion.
• Prepare local/global reports for Ariba eSourcing, train suppliers on eSourcing/eAuction tools, and lead NDA processes with Legal and category managers.
• Analyze data and reports to recommend improvements in processes, tools, and sourcing plans.
• Provide input on automation, standardization, and simplification of GBS contract processes.
• Follow metrics for contract creation, execution, and maintenance; review requisitions for policy alignment.
• Develop contracts with SLAs alongside Legal and suppliers, upload to Selectica, and track signatures.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, you need a blend of technical expertise and procurement acumen:

• MBA or B.Tech degree, preferably complemented by a Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering qualification for deep understanding of engineering works, services, assets, and equipment.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in procurement administration for technical/non-commercial items.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Working knowledge of SAP MM module, buying platforms like Ariba, Power Apps, Power BI, Excel, and Microsoft Office suite.
