Role Overview

The Manager - Capex and Engineering Procurement role in Hyderabad, Telangana, is pivotal in driving the success of PepsiCo's capital expenditure (Capex) initiatives. This position oversees the end-to-end procurement and contract management for engineering projects, from supplier identification to contract finalization. The focus is on optimizing processes, ensuring budget adherence, compliance with policies, and fostering strategic supplier relationships. Reporting to senior procurement and engineering leads, you will play a key role in streamlining workflows, leveraging digital tools like Ariba and SAP, and contributing to multi-year savings targets. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will support critical workflows to ensure seamless execution of capital projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing contract milestones, developing payment dashboards for timely supplier payments, and maintaining project communication logs for audit trails.
• Managing dashboards to track pre-negotiated savings from OEMs over five-year periods and handling as-built documentation with stakeholders.
• Monitoring warranties, expanding preferred supplier lists through market intelligence, especially in civils and construction.
• Executing RFx processes, including requirement gathering, evaluation, competitive bidding, and supplier financial/reference checks.
• Supporting Ariba eSourcing, training suppliers on tools, managing NDAs with legal teams, and providing data-driven recommendations for process improvements.
• Reviewing contract requisitions for policy alignment, collaborating on SLA-inclusive contracts, and tracking performance via KPIs in tools like Selectica.

Collaboration and Compliance

You will partner closely with engineering, global procurement (GP), legal, and knowledge management teams to ensure all activities meet PepsiCo's standards for quality, sustainability, and innovation.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must bring a blend of technical expertise and procurement acumen:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in procurement administration for technical/non-commercial items.
• A relevant college degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, demonstrating technical knowledge of engineering works, services, assets, and equipment.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and working knowledge of SAP MM, Ariba, Power Apps, Power BI, Excel, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Proven experience in civils work or materials management environments, with strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multi-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and drive proactive solutions.

Differentiating Competencies

Preference for candidates with hands-on experience in supply market scans, SLA/KPI tracking, and digital procurement tools.
