Role Overview

The Manager - Digital Commerce role at PepsiCo in Hyderabad serves as the analytical powerhouse for e-commerce operations across India's quick-commerce and online retail channels. This full-time position owns end-to-end sales reporting, customer performance analytics, inventory management, and forecasting for both Foods and Beverages portfolios. Bridging raw transaction data from top partners to actionable insights, you'll enable data-driven decisions that optimize inventory, boost sales performance, and drive category growth in a fiercely competitive landscape. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day impact will span critical areas of e-commerce operations:

  • Own end-to-end customer performance analytics, synthesizing multi-source data on offtake, inventory, pricing, market share, and promo performance to deliver monthly summaries, benchmarking, and recommendations to KAMs and leadership.
  • Maintain and enhance sales reporting dashboards in partnership with DTX and vendors, covering Sales Insights, Performance Marketing, and Consumer Listening, with quarterly reviews and global alignment.
  • Execute weekly inventory management by compiling bi-weekly offtake and Days-on-Hand reports, identifying stock-out risks, and escalating optimization opportunities.
  • Develop monthly 3-month rolling forecasts using historical PO trends, offtake patterns, promotions, and OFR data, presenting rationale and variance analysis to supply chain teams.
  • Lead weekly root cause analysis on demand fluctuations, category share shifts, and promotional effectiveness, generating actionable insights on pricing, visibility, assortment, content, and promotions.
  • Support quarterly Period Business Reviews (PBRs) with comprehensive data packages for top customers, synthesizing achievements vs. targets and leading post-meeting follow-ups.
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support with 4-hour turnaround on competitive dynamics, pricing strategies, and inventory scenarios for Sales, Category Management, and senior leaders.
  • Manage NPD tracking for launches like RRD and Cheetos, including velocity, share-of-voice, and benchmarking.
  • Ensure data accuracy in systems like Gobble Cube and 1DigiStack, performing validation and documenting processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on process improvements and automation with Global Sales Ops and customer IT teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Advanced Excel proficiency for data manipulation, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, scenario modeling, and rapid dashboard creation.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools like Power BI for visualization and vendor collaboration.
  • Hypothesis-driven analytical mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, multi-source data synthesis, and narrative-building.
  • Familiarity with sales systems, e-commerce platforms, customer data portals, and demand forecasting principles including seasonality and promotional lifts.
