Role Overview

The Manager, Finance Enterprise Applications position at Cardinal Health in Dublin, OH, is a strategic leadership role within the Application Development & Maintenance team. Reporting to senior IT leadership, you will oversee the management of critical Enterprise Finance applications that power our global finance operations. Key Responsibilities

Application Management & Project Delivery

Take full ownership of Enterprise Finance applications, including incident management, defect resolution, enhancements, and new builds. Plan, monitor, organize, and deliver projects that align with business objectives, collaborating with process tower leaders in OTC, PTP, SCE, RTR, R&I, and non-SAP systems.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

Attract, retain, and develop high-performing talent capable of delivering solutions through complex projects. Provide leadership and direction during problem-solving and crisis management, ensuring teams operate within established guidelines and policies.

Stakeholder Engagement & Compliance

Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across finance and IT. Ensure adherence to IT Controls, SOX compliance, and timely resolution of audit findings in finance functional areas. Interact with subordinates, peers, customers, suppliers, and senior management to resolve operational issues and gain consensus.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess 8-12 years of progressive experience, including 5+ years in Finance application management. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is preferred. Key requirements include:

• Full-cycle finance implementation experience with Finance SaaS applications
• Superior knowledge of finance domain processes and technologies
• Strong collaboration, leadership, and organizational skills
• Business acumen in finance and accounting
• Prior experience with SAP Finance, Ariba, Hyperion Consolidations, or High Radius is highly desirable
