Key Responsibilities at Datadog

As Engineering Manager - Alerting Platform, you'll drive strategic and tactical execution across multiple dimensions:

• Strategic Roadmap Leadership: Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to define and prioritize long-term roadmaps that align with customer needs and business objectives.

• Hands-on experience with production on-call, incident command, post-mortem writing, and remediation implementation.
• Strong background in distributed systems, microservices, and full-stack development (UI to API).
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and drive consensus on technical direction.
