The Security Case Management team is building the foundation of Datadog's security response experience, making us competitive in the SOAR space. As Engineering Manager I, Cloud SIEM - Security Case Management in Lisbon, Portugal, you'll lead a new team focused on enhancing case workflows, enabling automation through Datadog Workflows, and delivering collaboration features for efficient incident response at scale.

This hybrid role offers ~50% management and 50% hands-on technical work with modern tech stack including Python, Go, React, and Kubernetes. Join Datadog to shape the future of cloud security case management and work closely with Product, Design, and partner teams across Cloud SIEM and Security.

Key Responsibilities at Datadog

• Build and lead the fullstack Cloud SIEM Security Case Management team, directly managing 3-4 engineers
• Drive technical vision and collaborate with Product Management to develop security case strategy
• Deliver hands-on technical contributions using Python, Go, React, and Kubernetes technologies
• Partner with Cloud SIEM, Security, and Workflows teams for cohesive response experience
• Ensure engineering processes align with Datadog's highest standards and best practices
• Lead code and design reviews to maintain exceptional software quality
• Incorporate cutting-edge technology trends into Cloud SIEM product evolution
• Enhance case workflows and enable seamless automation capabilities
• Empower security analysts with rich collaboration features for scalable incident response

Qualifications & Requirements

• 2-3 years leadership experience as tech lead or people manager in software engineering
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python, Go, or React with desire for technical leadership
• Proven track record building and motivating high-performing engineering teams

• Interest in cloud security with bonus experience in security products or SOAR
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration with product and design partners
