Role Overview

As Manager - Insights in PepsiCo's Europe Sector Business Intelligence Center of Excellence (CoE) based in Hyderabad, Telangana, you will lead advanced development on the 'BI Enablers' Team. This role is pivotal in transforming the Global PPD platform by driving simplification, standardization, and self-service capabilities. You will translate complex business requirements into IT development plans, manage platform enhancements, and leverage tools like Tableau, PowerBI, and SQL. With a focus on Nielsen Retail Panel and household panels from Kantar/GFK/Ipsos, you will create intuitive dashboards and innovative AI/ML solutions to empower the European C-Suite across 30 countries and multiple categories including Snacks, Beverages, and Grains.

Key Responsibilities

The role demands hands-on expertise in BI development and transformation. Core responsibilities include:

• Efficiently collaborating on PPD transformation by designing and developing BI products such as reporting tools, visualizations, and self-service dashboards while managing project delivery.
• Partnering with the Global BI GBS Team to enhance the platform, presenting solutions to business users, and iterating based on feedback for continuous improvement.
• Applying advanced visualization techniques to deliver actionable insights, quick data designs, and intuitive dashboards that speed up data-driven decisions.
• Acting as a thought partner for analytics solutions, including AI/ML, NLP/NLG developments like recommendation engines, chatbots, and virtual assistants; designing, configuring, and testing for POCs and production scalability.
• Handling SQL queries in PowerBI, Azure knowledge, documentation, agile scrum participation, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and process optimization for data reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this position, candidates must possess:

• B. Tech/B.E./MCA from reputed institutes.
• 8-10 years of experience in Analytics and BI solution development, with expertise in Tableau, PowerBI, and SQL.
• Proven track record in change management and platform transformation journeys.
• Expert-level knowledge of Point of Sale databases and metrics (Nielsen, IRI, SPINs, One Click Retail).
• Platform engineering experience in AI/ML, NLP/NLG solutions, recommendation engines, chatbots, and virtual assistants.
• Skills in performance tuning, including pushdown logic, calculated columns, data loading strategies, and filtering.

Strong Excel data manipulation, stakeholder collaboration, and agile methodologies are essential.
