Role Overview

The Manager, IT Engineering role is within Gilead's global IT organization, specifically the US Commercial Field Enablement IT team. Reporting to the US Commercial IT Field Enablement lead, you'll support critical Sales Operations capabilities, including third-party agreements, sales crediting, HCP appointment scheduling, and rep inquiries. This position demands collaboration with business stakeholders in US Commercial Operations, IT teams managing Veeva/Vault CRM, Veeva Align, Master Data Management, and Commercial Analytics Hub. Work closely with CRM, Events, and HCP Account Management leads, plus vendor MSP teams, to deliver seamless capabilities for field sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you'll drive the enhancement and management of multiple Sales Operations applications. Key duties include partnering with MSP teams to align applications with evolving business needs, ensuring compliance with Gilead's security, architecture, and regulatory standards alongside enterprise IT. You'll maintain positive end-user experiences for field applications like Veeva CRM and Align, troubleshoot integrations, and engage directly with business users, IT peers, and vendors. Qualifications & Requirements

Basic qualifications include a Doctorate, Master’s degree with 4+ years relevant experience, or Bachelor’s with 6+ years. Preferred candidates bring 5+ years in similar Biotech/Pharmaceutical roles, with demonstrated technical and functional knowledge. A strong understanding of Salesforce and Vault platforms is essential, alongside experience in enterprise platform assessments and multi-vendor scenarios—vendor management is a plus.
