This strategic role leads sourcing and procurement for General & Administrative (G&A) functions, partnering with Legal, HR, Finance, Workplace/Facilities, and Real Estate leaders. Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

As Procurement Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in MongoDB's operational excellence, leveraging data insights from our cloud-native MongoDB Atlas platform across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure. Key responsibilities include:

• G&A Partnership: Collaborate closely with Legal, HR (People), Finance, and Workplace stakeholders to understand goals and uncover category opportunities for MongoDB's Fortune 100 customers.
• Infrastructure Sourcing: Develop strategies for indirect categories like outside legal counsel, benefits providers, office security, janitorial services, and construction/fit-out vendors.
• Real Estate & Facilities Support: Handle procurement for global office expansions and maintenance under tight deadlines, including vendor sourcing and contract negotiation for workspace projects.
• Spend Analysis: Analyze G&A spend data to identify savings, utilizing strategic sourcing to optimize spending on MongoDB's globally distributed database infrastructure.
• Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Advise executives on trends and performance; manage relationships with global real estate firms, insurance brokers, and HRIS platforms.
• Contract & Compliance Oversight: Oversee contract lifecycles, securing favorable terms and mitigating risks with Legal team support.
• Process Improvement: Enhance procurement policies and e-procurement tool adoption for better visibility into overhead and efficiency.
• Strategic Alignment: Ensure procurement strategies support MongoDB's leadership commitment to innovation and growth in the AI-native software era.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this MongoDB procurement career, candidates need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Law, or related field.
• 6+ years in strategic sourcing/procurement focused on Corporate Services, HR, Finance, Legal, Facilities/Real Estate.
• Expertise in spend analysis, category management, contract negotiation, and SRM in corporate contexts.
• Strong analytical/quantitative skills and deep knowledge of legal contracts/procurement risk.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing abilities for sensitive HR/Legal matters.
• Proven independent operation in dynamic settings, managing multiple projects with strategic efficiency.
• Track record collaborating with executives like CHRO, General Counsel, Head of Real Estate.

Preferred: Experience with Coupa, Source to Pay tools, ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Workday), e-procurement tech, and leadership skills. Familiarity with MongoDB's NoSQL platform is a plus for data-driven procurement.
