Role Overview

As Manager-Senior Manager, HIV Digital Marketing in Tokyo, Japan, you will be a key individual contributor in the HIV & COVID-19 Business Unit, reporting to the HIV Marketing Department Head. This full-time role focuses on developing and executing digital marketing strategies to accelerate customer engagement through omnichannel approaches. You will link high-quality promotional materials with digital programs tailored to individual customer needs, provide actionable feedback via PDCA cycles, and ensure alignment with product strategies. Collaborate closely with product managers, sales, medical affairs, commercial operations, and global teams while managing Japanese external vendors to achieve enterprise goals. This position offers a platform to innovate with AI and lead transformative projects like Leapfrog for maximum omnichannel impact.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will:

• Maximize HIV business growth by developing digital marketing strategies and communication plans based on market analysis and customer insights, aligned with the HIV Plan of Action (POA).
• Execute digital tactics, run PDCA cycles, and deliver recommendations across the Business Unit (BU).
• Lead the Leapfrog project, partnering with internal stakeholders like Commercial Operations and Global teams to optimize omnichannel customer communications.
• Proactively explore and introduce next-generation AI innovations in commercial practices.
• Participate actively in POA tactical planning and ensure all activities comply with Gilead Sciences Japan (GSJ) business standards.
• Foster effective collaboration with HIV team members and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, candidates should possess:

• More than two years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical-related digital marketing, such as at pharma companies, healthcare firms, or advertising agencies.
• Proven knowledge and execution skills in digital channels including web, email, and social media.
• Strong proficiency in customer digital access log tools, data analysis, and deriving insights for effective actions.
• Ambition to position Biktarvy® as the premier HIV therapy.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and innovation mindset, with a commitment to compliance.

Fluency in English and Japanese is advantageous for stakeholder interactions and vendor management.
