Role Overview

As Manager Software Engineering – Active WM, you'll report to the Engineering Director in SCPT. This full-time role involves leading a high-performing team focused on Manhattan Active Warehouse Management systems. Based in Laakdal, Belgium, you'll ensure seamless global warehouse implementations, collaborating with business users, engineering, and product teams. Key Responsibilities

Lead your engineering team in onboarding and supporting customers on Nike's SCPT platforms. Set priorities, manage performance, and create an inclusive environment. Coordinate with global stakeholders, provide coaching, and evaluate R&D projects for technical success. Serve as scrum lead, handling warehouse management implementations worldwide, from receiving to shipping.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Multiple years of professional experience, including several years managing software engineering teams.
• Proven hands-on experience with Manhattan Active WMS, including ProActive, Config Director, UDC config.
• Years of experience with Manhattan WMOS.
• Deep understanding of warehouse operations: receiving, putaway, waving, order streaming, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control.
• Hands-on Active WMS configuration experience.
• Familiarity with Slotting Optimization, SCI Reporting, MIF/DIF, Labor Management.
• Experience with JDA, HighJump, SAP.
• Strong communication skills for presenting to leadership.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting in FreeMarker, Velocity, Python.
• Cloud deployments and Manhattan Active architecture knowledge.
