Role Overview

As Manager, Software Engineering, ITC in Bengaluru, India, you will lead a high-performing team within Nike's Data & AI organization. This full-time role focuses on developing advanced data platforms, AI/LLM-powered applications, and enterprise services. Key Responsibilities

• Guide and inspire software engineers in building robust, scalable data platforms supporting enterprise-wide needs.
• Architect and deliver SDKs, APIs, and microservices tailored to evolving data and analytics demands.
• Partner with product managers, architects, and leaders to define technical strategy and long-term roadmaps.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, problem-solving, and engineering best practices.
• Champion data governance, operational monitoring, platform observability, and compliance.
• Develop agentic workflows and AI/LLM-powered enterprise applications.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience

Minimum 10 years in software development with proven delivery of production-grade systems at scale. At least 3 years leading engineering teams, focusing on talent recruitment and growth.

Technical Expertise

• Deep knowledge of distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Expertise in AI/ML, agentic workflows, data pipelines, metadata management, and governance.
• Mastery of architectural patterns and computer science fundamentals.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).

Soft Skills

Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and ability to make build vs. buy decisions for AIML tools.
