Role Overview

As Manager, Store Construction LATAM, based in Ciudad de México, Mexico, you will lead the execution of Nike's new store builds and remodels across the region. Reporting to the Sr Manager of Store Development, you'll collaborate with cross-functional global and local teams including Retail Design, Loss Prevention, Legal, IT, Store Ops, Facilities, Marketing, Merchandising, and Store Opening teams. As the construction subject matter expert, you'll ensure projects deliver on time, on budget, and to Nike's uncompromising quality standards. This full-time role offers the chance to manage a direct report (Store Construction Specialist) and external vendors, driving Nike's retail expansion in LATAM.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will focus on high-impact execution:

• Coordinate with territory and global teams to align on design intent, construction timelines, and cost control for seamless project delivery.
• Prepare detailed budgets, business cases, and risk analyses to ensure accurate financial planning and transparency.
• Manage tenders, contracts, and onboard new suppliers to secure top-tier quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to handle timelines, permits, and project requirements.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation while driving process improvements for greater efficiency.
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders to foster clarity, collaboration, and high-quality project outcomes.

Project Leadership

Oversee Nike Direct Stores and Partner Store projects, from inception to completion, ensuring every remodel and new build embodies Nike's brand excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (or suitable combination of education, experience, and training).
• 6+ years of experience in corporate retail construction or store development.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects across diverse geographies and cultural contexts.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, vendor management, vendor search, contract negotiation, and cost control.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Great interpersonal skills and a team-first attitude.
• Ability to travel as needed for project execution and team development.
• Strong sense of personal accountability, bias for action, and ability to work autonomously.

Preferred Experience

Background in retail or tech sector construction in Mexico or LATAM is highly valued, along with fluency in English and Spanish.
