The Manufacturing Set Up Technician (Plastics) - 1st Shift (Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm) at Cardinal Health's Deland, FL location is an entry-level opportunity ideal for hands-on professionals eager to contribute to healthcare manufacturing. This role involves setting up, operating, testing, and inspecting production equipment while ensuring compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO 13485 standards. In this position, you'll be the backbone of efficient production operations. Key duties include:
Quality assurance is paramount. You'll perform dimensional and physical inspections using precision tools such as micrometers and dial calipers. Interpret engineering drawings and schematics to uphold standards. Select products for visual, dimensional, performance, mechanical, electrical, or chemical inspections. Additionally, transport hazardous waste safely and complete annual RCRA refresher training. Cross-training across the facility ensures versatility and team support.
