Key Responsibilities

In this position, you'll be the backbone of efficient production operations. Key duties include:

• Setting up various production machines and ancillary equipment using small hand tools like wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, drills, and channel locks according to procedures and specifications.
• Monitoring machinery and process goals during your shift, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimum performance.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, performing repairs or coordinating technical support.
• Conducting scheduled preventive maintenance as directed by your supervisor.
• Completing all required paperwork for finished products and maintaining equipment records per manufacturing guidelines.

Quality and Safety Focus

Quality assurance is paramount. You'll perform dimensional and physical inspections using precision tools such as micrometers and dial calipers. Interpret engineering drawings and schematics to uphold standards. Select products for visual, dimensional, performance, mechanical, electrical, or chemical inspections. Additionally, transport hazardous waste safely and complete annual RCRA refresher training. Cross-training across the facility ensures versatility and team support.
