Role Overview

As Chef de Marché GMS (Market Manager GMS) for Île-de-France Sud, this CDD position from now until June 30, 2026, positions you as the on-the-ground champion of PepsiCo France's commercial strategy. Responsible for approximately 80 supermarket and proximity points of sale in Paris's southern suburbs, you'll drive revenue across all PepsiCo brands and categories. Operate autonomously, negotiating displays, shelf space, and promotions while building partnerships with store managers, supervisors, and department heads. Thrive in a competitive landscape with internal contests, quarterly bonuses, and a sector-specific budget.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Presence Optimization

Ensure negotiated PepsiCo ranges from national and regional centrals are fully present. Negotiate snacking furniture installation, monitor filling and maintenance, and secure commercial counterparts. Drive CA (turnover) growth via displays, MEA operations, and PLV (point-of-sale materials) for superior product visibility.

Negotiation and Reimplantation

Autonomously increase linear shelf space through total or partial rayon reimplantations. Propose and negotiate animations tied to DX Shopper's key calendar events, maximizing impact.

Performance Management

Track KPIs including Nielsen CA, PDL (presence distribution listing), and DN SFA. Pilot your sector agenda based on CVR priorities, participate in bi-annual internal contests, and manage quarterly bonus objectives.

Partnership and Expertise

Act as a market expert, advising supervisors, store directors, monitors, food chiefs, and rayon heads. Foster true partnerships, conduct competitive intelligence, coach an alternance Proxi contract, and share insights across functions like VIP terrain days.

Budget and Collaboration

Manage allocated budget (My Boutique, Push Alvalle plans, BRI) for maximum returns. Demonstrate solidarity by relaying competitor info and serving as proximity market referent.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel, hold a BTS Commerce or equivalent BAC+2/3 commercial training. Prior experience in GMS as a department head (distributor side) or sales promoter/attaché commercial (industry side) is essential. Key traits include strong relational skills, autonomy, organization, prioritization, dynamism, competitive spirit, entrepreneurship, teamwork, initiative, creativity, and administrative rigor. A valid driver's license is mandatory; knowledge of Paris's proximity retail network is a plus. Based in Paris (IDF petite couronne).
