Role Overview

The Marketing and Advertising Attorney position at PepsiCo in Plano, Texas, is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence three days a week. Key Responsibilities

As a key member of the Marketing Legal Team, you will review and respond to a high volume of requests from Marketing, Brand, and Public Relations teams on product labeling, advertising, and marketing activations. This includes escalations from paralegals and serving as a primary contact for managers. Working independently under the Senior Director's guidance, your responsibilities encompass:

  • Providing expert guidance on food labeling, advertising, marketing, and promotion laws to minimize legal and reputational risks.
  • Offering early and continuous feedback throughout the product development process from ideation to launch.
  • Representing FLNA in contract negotiations with agencies, licensing partners, sponsors, promotional entities, and mainstream/emerging media partners, while drafting related contracts.
  • Delivering training sessions to marketing teams on relevant legal topics.
  • Managing off-hours approvals to support time-critical business initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements
