The Marketing Assistant Manager for the Nutrition Category, Hot Platform, is a pivotal role within PepsiCo's Quaker business in Shanghai, China. This position drives the mission to enhance consumer gut health and quality of life through innovative nourishment products. The vision is to position Quaker as the leading brand in basic gut-health-oriented breakfasts for core consumer cohorts, featuring superior product lines such as Instant Oats (IO), Quick Cooking Oats (QCO), Oats for Rice (OFR), Instant Oat Functional (IOF), Cereal Powder Drink (CPD), Premium CPD, and Functional Nutrition platforms. Reporting to senior marketing leadership, you will contribute to business growth, innovation, and portfolio optimization in the competitive Chinese FMCG market.

Additionally, you will direct marketing campaigns as required by the hot base platform product line, supporting channel activities and trade-to-trade (T2T) efforts from a marketing perspective. Performance monitoring is crucial: you will identify solutions and recommend enhancements based on data-driven insights. Finally, continuously optimize the portfolio mix—covering proposition, product, package, price, place, and promotion—through sophisticated competitive analysis.
Expect a dynamic mix of strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on execution. This role demands a blend of creativity, analytics, and leadership to thrive in PepsiCo's fast-paced environment.

Business acumen and a keen sense of aesthetics ('beauty sense') will set you apart in optimizing product portfolios.
Experience in nutrition, breakfast, or hot cereal platforms in China is highly valued. Proficiency in Chinese and English is advantageous for stakeholder interactions.
