We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Breakfast Chef de Partie to join our dedicated team at The Westin and Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane

Role Overview:

As a Breakfast Chef de Partie, you will lead by example, overseeing a specific section of the kitchen while ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation and consistency. From crafting dishes that delight our guests to mentoring junior team members, you’ll play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences across our venues. • Full-time permanent role
• 38 hours a week

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate activities within your section during busy period and supports team efforts ensuring smooth operations
• Prepare and present high-quality dishes within your designated section
• Ensure all food preparation and storage meets health, safety and hygiene standards
• Work closely with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and other team members to ensure kitchen efficiency
• Collaborate with the other F&B outlets to ensure efficiency
• Innovate and contribute ideas for menu development and improvement
• Anticipate and address guest needs, offering personalized recommendations and maintain a focus on guests satisfaction
• Uphold brand values and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service

About You:

• Commercial Cookery Trade Certificate and minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Chef de Partie role in a 5 star Luxury Lifestyle Hotel environment
• The confidence to promote ideas and make sound decisions under pressure 
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Be able to start breakfast shifts at 5:30am
• Proven track record of training and development of Commis Chefs & Apprentices
• Full knowledge of HACCP and Workplace Health & Safety
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Financial acumen with Food Costs and Payroll Costs and be able to talk to these
• Previous experience using Birchstreet procurement system
