Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

 

Maintain control of, verify, and account for the Slot department’s inventory of coins, currency, all forms, documents, and records pertaining to the operations of the Slot Department. Provide cashiers with the opening impressments of coins, and the cash impressments form. Assign slot employees to their respective working areas, and meal break hours, keeping rotations consistent. Assist Slot Attendants in the escort of Jackpot Payment and hopper refills. Document and monitor each Slot Cashier’s overage and shortages. Monitor and evaluate all slot operations employees work performance, on a daily basis, for compliance with all policies and procedures. Serve as a liaison in any dispute or altercation and audit the entire transaction to determine discrepancies if the dispute involves an exchange of funds. Assist management in establishing and communicating goals, performance expectations, timetables and deadlines for shift or departmental operations to hourly employees and ensure that they are understood.

 

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 10 pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended time period. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: 3 years of related work experience

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None
