Reporting to the Cluster Reservations Manager, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Group Reservations Agent to join the on-property Groups Reservations Team. 

The Group Reservations Agent is a cluster role supporting two hotels; Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands and AC by Marriott Hotel Southbank.

 Responsibilities include:

Reporting to the Cluster Reservations manager, your responsibilites will include, but are not limited to:   

• Assist hotel group guests to ensure a successful event from pre-arrival through departure.
• Prepare and distribute accurate function sheets, rooming lists, and event resumes to relevant departments.
• Engage with clients to understand their vision and specific requirements.
• Ensure all administrative records are accurate and up-to-date in systems (CRM/PMS).
• Conduct post-event follow-ups and engage feedback to drive improvement.
• Build lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Ensure close communication with other hotel departments to ensure every guest has a smooth arrival experience.
• Handling and processing group reservations and inquiries from all booking channels.

What we are looking for 

To be successful in this position, you will have: 

• Previous experience in a Group Reservations Agent role in a 4- or 5-star hotel. 
• A quick learner with the ability to understand a range of booking systems. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and PMS/event platforms.
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook. 
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to multitask and work productively in a busy environment.
