The Heidelberg Marriott Hotel is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Engineer (m/f/d) to actively support our team! If you enjoy manual work, like maintaining order and cleanliness, and have an eye for detail, then you've come to the right place.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of hotel facilities, rooms, and public areas
• Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance work
• Supervising and coordinating external contractors
• Ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
• Assisting with relocations, renovations, and remodeling projects
• General janitorial duties such as checking technical systems, lighting, heating, and ventilation
• Assisting with warehousing and inventory control of materials and tools
• Ensuring and monitoring compliance with HACCP and occupational health and safety guidelines

Be able. 

• Completed vocational training (e.g., electrician, plumber, painter, carpenter, etc.) or comparable experience
• Experience in hotel or facility management is an advantage
• Independent, reliable, and diligent work ethic
• Flexibility and willingness to work outside of regular working hours if necessary
• Teamwork skills and a friendly demeanor
• Good German language skills; English is an advantage
