Job Description

Position Summary
This six-month structured internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the hotel industry, specifically within the Food & Beverage (F&B) discipline. Based in an above-property office environment, the program provides a comprehensive overview of F&B operations, with a strong focus on Meetings + Events. Interns will work on meaningful assignments that support business initiatives and contribute to the guest experience.

The ideal candidate will be analytical, organized, and an excellent communicator, with a passion for customer service and events. Strong technical skills in PowerPoint and Excel (intermediate level) are essential. Prior hotel operational experience—particularly in Events and F&B—is preferred.

 

Scope

  • Location: Eschborn or London
  • Language Requirements: Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Expected Date to Start: 2 March 2026 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the roll-out and implementation of Events-related hotel initiatives
  • Develop training programs for hotel associates in Meetings + Events
  • Consolidate operational data and assist in analysis
  • Create compelling PowerPoint presentations for Meetings + Events projects
  • Provide input on initiatives aimed at enhancing the consumer experience
  • Design standard templates for use in Rooms discipline projects
  • Liaise with properties to ensure timely and effective project outcomes
  • Assist with day-to-day business needs of the discipline and hotels

 

Candidate Profile
Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree-level education preferred
  • Demonstrated interest in Hospitality and/or Event Management
  • Previous hotel experience in Events or F&B is a plus

Skills & Competencies

  • Passion for events and adaptability to changing requirements
  • Detail-oriented and project-focused mindset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to analyze basic financial data and handle confidential information
  • Team player with a high level of self-confidence and professionalism
  • Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment

  • Maintain positive relationships with colleagues and business partners
  • Attend training sessions and meetings (in-person or virtual) as required
  • Willingness to travel for business if needed
