Your Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
- Take and process food and beverage orders, offer thoughtful recommendations, and address guest inquiries or concerns.
- Deliver prompt, accurate service with impeccable presentation standards.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and stock rotation to ensure freshness and minimise waste.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, including polishing cutlery and tableware.
- Manage reservations and guest bookings efficiently.
- Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen, bar, housekeeping, and front-of-house teams for smooth service flow.
- Attend regular team meetings and training sessions.
- Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene standards, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
About You
- Current Victorian RSA.
- Previous experience in a similar premium dining role.
- Basic wine knowledge (WSET or similar is a plus).
- Ability to prepare classic cocktails.
- Availability for evening and late dinner service.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Proficient in English, confident in engaging guests with compelling storytelling.
- Passionate about hospitality and committed to career growth.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, solutions-focused, and equipped with a can-do attitude.
