The Opportunity 

We are now inviting applications for a committed and reliable Part Time Steward/Kitchen Hand (Back of House) to join our hotel. Our ideal candidate is someone who is working in a similar role and has been responsible for washing dishes, china-ware, flatware, cutlery, crockery, kitchen machinery, sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning and detailing equipment etc. This is a hands-on role, and you will ensure the kitchen is clean, well maintained and organized at all times, whilst adhering to work, health, safety and sanitation policies and procedures. 
 
About You 

• Experience working in a similar Steward/Kitchen Hand position (hotel or hospitality environment preferred) 
• Take work, health and safety seriously and uphold hygienic standards and practices - always 
• Passion for hospitality and supporting our entire Culinary and Food and Beverage team 
• Good communications skills 
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized (able to manage multiple priorities) 
• Collaborative and willing to help where and when required 
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) 
• Collaborative in your approach and able to build trusted working relationships 
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 14kgs without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. 
• Willing to be flexible is essential as shifts will include days, evenings, weekends and public holidays 
• Full working rights in Australia is essential
