Job Summary

The Manager, Finance Business Partner (FBP) plays a pivotal role in supporting strategic and operational decision-making across the organization. This position acts as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing financial insights, performance analysis, and recommendations to drive business outcomes. The Manager partners cross-functionally to support planning, forecasting, reporting, and process improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals and governance standards.

The job location will be in Shanghai.

Candidate Profile
Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including managerial or supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering; hospitality or service industry experience is a plus.

Minimum Job Specifications

• Strong financial acumen and analytical thinking with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial systems (e.g., Hyperion, PeopleSoft, Power BI) preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and drive change.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and timeliness.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
   

Core Work Activities

• Serve as a finance business partner to assigned functions or projects, providing analytical support and financial guidance.
• Lead monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and dashboard development to support business visibility and decision-making.
• Prepare and review financial documentation including budgets, forecasts, and business cases.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls, and governance principles.
• Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling, scenario planning, and business reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, compliance, accounting, and project management to ensure financial alignment.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation in financial operations.
• Monitor and manage project-level financials including cost tracking, billing, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Provide proactive insights and recommendations to optimize resource allocation and mitigate financial risks.
• Participate in global and regional initiatives, sharing best practices and leveraging tools across teams.
