Role Overview

This pivotal leadership role at Cardinal Health involves managing the Optifreight Master Data Team to design and deliver reliable master data solutions supporting key business processes. You will enable Nuclear Manufacturing and warehousing functionality within SAP, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance. As a trusted foundation for the Optifreight business, you'll provide a single source of truth driving quality, regulatory adherence, and innovation. This nationwide field position offers short-term impact on operations, customer outcomes, and cross-functional collaboration, reporting within our high-performing Information Technology division focused on Application Development & Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead with expertise in this managerial position:

  • Manage department operations, supervising professional employees, frontline supervisors, and business support staff.
  • Participate in developing policies and procedures to achieve strategic goals.
  • Ensure team adherence to guidelines, with decisions impacting work processes, outcomes, and customers.
  • Interact with subordinates, peers, customers, suppliers, and senior management to resolve operational and project issues.
  • Gain consensus across parties while leading master data initiatives for Optifreight and Nuclear Manufacturing.
  • Oversee SAP integrations, data governance, and enhancements for manufacturing and warehouse management.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel, bring proven expertise:

  • 8-12 years of relevant experience, with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
  • Expertise in SAP MDG implementation for Customer, Vendor, and Material domains in large-scale projects.
  • Extensive SAP MDG integration with ECC and S/4HANA, plus support for QM, PM, WM, IM, MM, and PP modules.
  • Strong knowledge of FDA computer system validation, prior audit support for FDA/SOX preferred.
  • Expert SAP configuration in master data, BRF+ workflows, user exits, BADIs, data model enhancements, DIF/DEF, DRF.
  • Proficiency in third-party interfaces, data conversion, and aligning business processes with technical SAP MDG solutions.
  • SAP MDG certifications highly valued.
