Role Overview

The Material Handler - 3rd Shift position at Cardinal Health's Greenwood, SC location is a critical role within our manufacturing and distribution operations. Working Monday through Friday from 12:00am to 8:00am, you'll ensure the smooth flow of raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility. This role includes mandatory overtime up to 4 hours daily and weekend production as needed, offering opportunities for increased earnings. Starting pay is $18.25 per hour, including shift differential, in a fast-paced warehouse environment equipped with state-of-the-art material handling equipment.

Shift Details and Expectations

This overnight shift supports continuous production demands. You'll operate stand-up forklifts and clamp lifts to manage inventory efficiently, maintaining accurate records to support our supply chain excellence. The role applies standard operating procedures under moderate supervision, with regular output reviews by leads or supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

As a Material Handler, your daily tasks will directly impact our operational efficiency:

• Unload incoming trucks using stand-up forklifts or stand-up clamp lifts with precision and safety.
• Utilize inventory systems to check in products, track stock levels, count inventory, and stack goods properly.
• Store products securely in designated warehouse locations, primarily using stand-up forklift or clamp lift.
• Pick orders from storage and load them efficiently into outbound trucks for timely delivery.
• Transport materials to the production line, ensuring manufacturing processes run without interruption.

Qualifications & Requirements

We seek reliable team players ready to contribute immediately. Preferred qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of related work experience or training in warehousing or manufacturing.
• 1-2 years operating stand-up forklifts.
• 1-2 years operating stand-up clamp lifts.

At this level, you'll apply acquired knowledge to standard tasks, learn new methods quickly, maintain necessary certifications, work within defined procedures, adhere to quality guidelines, and escalate complex issues to supervisors.
