The Identity and Access Management (IAM) program at McDonald's encompasses planning, design, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of identity services across our global enterprise. This role demands a subject matter expert who thrives in fast-paced environments where feel-good moments meet complex technical challenges.
Your day-to-day will involve supporting project efforts to build modernized IAM capabilities using standardized frameworks. You'll implement identity governance controls leveraging best practices, ensuring a solid, scalable foundation for future growth. Expect hands-on work developing technology workflows and rules to maintain data accuracy across managed systems.
Collaboration is key—you'll partner with authoritative sources, application teams, IAM peers, cybersecurity, and HR to deliver event-based and request-based identity lifecycle management. Ongoing operations enhancements, bug fixes, and GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance) support will keep you at the forefront of enterprise security.
To succeed, you need 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience in identity management/governance technologies, including technical requirements gathering, design, implementation, and maintenance. Deep technical expertise (4+ years) with Saviynt, SailPoint Identity-IQ, IdentityNow, or similar is essential—Saviynt experience (1+ years) and L200 certification are highly preferred.
Hands-on experience with application integration via standard connectors, building full lifecycle management workflows, and establishing RBAC/ABAC frameworks is non-negotiable. Proficiency in JSON, JavaScript, REST APIs, and agile methodologies will set you apart. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
