Core duties include supporting the annual financial plan's preparation and presentation, interpreting trends, and forecasting results. You'll spot gaps against targets and recommend solutions to hit goals, while managing G&A expenses with rigorous justification.
Assess business initiatives' effectiveness, report to Segment Management, and champion best practices for adoption elsewhere. On the control side, ensure financial practices align with rules and policies, train market teams on McDonald’s procedures, and maintain internal controls to protect assets. You'll also develop talent through DL Finance Team training, turning them into strong business partners.
To thrive, bring 7+ years of finance experience, preferably in multinational settings. A Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting is required; CPA or MBA is a plus. Excel in FP&A, budgeting, profitability analysis, and compliance with GAAP/SOX. Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and ERP systems like SAP is crucial. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills will set you apart.
