As an Associate Instructional Designer, K-5 ELA in our Product Development team, you will join a dynamic group focused on K-12 literacy programs, partnering closely with content, product management, UX, and creative media teams to build robust digital tools and curriculum solutions. In this remote, Project Status Worker (PSW) role open to U.S.-authorized applicants able to work Eastern Standard hours (ending 12/31/2026), you will assemble, document, and troubleshoot high-quality content based on specific product requirements. Participate in concept meetings, support multiple build rounds, and collaborate extensively while playing a key role in user testing, QA, and ensuring vendor deliverables meet guidelines under tight timelines. Maintain accurate documentation, handle metadata tagging, concept mapping, digital editing, and contribute to accessibility, all while driving innovation in edtech. Key Responsibilities

• Participate in concept meetings and prepare manuscript needs for digital assets
• Support multiple build rounds throughout product development lifecycle
• Collaborate extensively with Instructional Designers, content teams, product management, UX, and creative media
• Play a key role in user testing and QA, identifying and troubleshooting technical bugs
• Ensure vendor deliverables meet guidelines and adhere to tight timelines
• Maintain accurate build documentation, support metadata tagging, concept mapping, and digital editing
• Contribute to accessibility development and overall product build quality
• Collaborate on cross-functional teams to meet product requirements, schedules, and digital launch needs
• Handle vendor-facing tasks such as templates, trackers, and digital content development guidelines
• Demonstrate ongoing technical, functional, and professional expertise to drive strong outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, or related field required
• 1-3 years’ experience working in digital content development that includes teaching and learning materials
• Experience with authoring tools, learning management systems, and content management systems
• Familiarity with iterative development frameworks, including Agile methodology
• Authorized to work for any employer within the United States
• Ability to work Eastern Standard hours
• Availability for a Project Status Worker (PSW) role ending 12/31/2026

• Previous K-5 teaching experience
