As a CTE Account Executive in our Sales team, you’ll focus on selling and supporting McGraw Hill’s innovative CTE solutions to our Grades K-12 customer base, driving expansion in this dynamic, growing market. This remote role, open to U.S.-authorized applicants near Phoenix, Denver, Chicago, Las Vegas, or Minneapolis-St. Paul airports, requires 50%-60% travel and offers the chance to champion career education in an enriching, innovation-focused culture. In this role, you’ll create and execute strategic business plans to meet company growth targets, seek out large-scale opportunities like grant funding and state trends, and track engagements in our CRM to secure deals. Key Responsibilities

  • Focus on selling and supporting McGraw Hill CTE solutions to Grades K-12 customer base to expand business in this growing market
  • Create and execute strategic business plans to increase sales according to company growth expectations
  • Actively seek unique large-scale CTE market opportunities such as grant funding or new state trends to position McGraw Hill CTE learning solutions
  • Track opportunities and engagements in the CRM, develop quotes, and secure initial and repeat business
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations and technology demonstrations for high-stakes account review committees, conference events, and other opportunities
  • Partner with Career and Technical Education Marketing and Product Teams to impact development of new products in our expanding portfolio
  • Share product knowledge with the sales team
  • Partner with Core Sales Representatives to impact shared accounts in Career and Technical Education
  • Champion the McGraw Hill approach to career education in an expanding marketplace

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Ability to travel overnight 50%-65% of the time
  • Must reside near one of the following major airports: Chicago, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Denver, or Minneapolis-St. Paul
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and hold a valid driver’s license
  • Authorized to work for any employer within the United States
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite — Outlook and PowerPoint (basic), Word and Excel (intermediate)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of K-12 educational publishing or EdTech sales experience with a proven track record of closing deals and managing territories
  • Background in K-12 Career and Technical Education (CTE) markets with demonstrated success selling CTE solutions or models
